The Association of Water Utilities of Republika Srpska organized a training called Strategic Planning on Monday and Tuesday, 09-10. March 2020 at the Hotel Bosna, Banja Luka. The strategic planning is being carried out within the framework of the project “Regional Capacity Development Network for Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment (RCDN)”.

The training focuses on promoting strategic thinking and action, improved decision making within the organization, helping organizations formulate and clearly communicate their strategic interventions / clarify future direction, address major organizational issues, improve organizational efficiency, and improve teamwork and expertise.

In Banja Vrucica it is 13-14. On December 12, 2018, a final workshop entitled “Implementation of Benchmarking using the DCM Platform” was organized by the Association of Water Suppliers of Republika Srpska. The workshop was supported by the International Water Supply Association of the Danube River Basin (IAWD).

During the workshop, the achieved results were presented and the data collected for the period 2015-2017 were analyzed. years. Data for the period 2015-2016. have been successfully submitted to the IBNET / Danubis database and data for 2017 will be sent by the end of this year.

With the assistance of the World Bank, the Association of Water Utilities of the Republika Srpska is organizing an educational workshop as an introduction to the continuation of the project “Implementation of Benchmarking with the DCM Platform 2018”. The workshop is held in the period 27-28.06.2019. year at Hotel Kardial in Teslic and is intended for water companies from the Republic of Srpska that have applied for participation in the project “Implementation of Benchmarking with DCM Platform 2018 – 2019”. The carrier of the educational activity is “Vodovod” a.d. Banja Luka for the third consecutive year, with project managers Branka Trninic, Miodrag Babic and Srdjan Kevac.

The aim of the workshop is to continue working on a benchmarking platform for water utilities in the Republic of Srpska. improving the performance of the water sector and exchanging practices and experiences in companies, all through a program to strengthen the association “Water Supply of the Republika Srpska”.

The 2nd Benchmarking Workshop of the Danube Platform will be held in Subotica between February 27 and March 1, 2019.

The objectives of these workshops are to bring together leading companies in the Danube region and provide mutual support to businesses to improve performance, as well as networking with IAWD benchmarking platforms.

Representatives of the Water Supply Company Banja Luka also participated in this workshop.

Association Water Utilities of Republika Srpska organized a final workshop on benchmarking implementation using the DCM platform with the assistance of the World Bank – WB and the International Association of Water Companies in the Danube River Basin – IAWD, from 29 to 30 November 2019 in Mrakovica.

This workshop brought together water utilities from Republika Srpska who have applied for participation in the project “Benchmarking Implementation with the DCM Platform 2018 – 2019” worth KM 33,136.85. The main objective of the project is to collect data and transfer knowledge, ie. improving the performance of the water sector and exchanging practices and experiences in companies, all through a program to strengthen the association “Water Supply of the Republika Srpska”. The methodology used during the project at the regional level is the EBC – benchmarking platform, while at the national level, the IBNET – DCM platform is used. The carrier of the educational activity is “Vodovod” a.d. Banja Luka and project managers are Branka Trninic, Miodrag Babic and Srdjan Kevac.
