Within the project “Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) for water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment services” via a video link today, May 12, 2020, a Webinar was held on “Cooperation of municipalities and public water companies in providing water services for the time of the COVID-19 pandemic ”. The objectives of this Webinar are, above all, to exchange experiences on the challenges of providing water services and to present examples of good practice between representatives of municipalities and public utilities from the Western Balkans during the pandemic.

The Webinar also discussed the challenges that the pandemic has brought to the management of water services, possible solutions to the new situation and problems, as well as whether the cooperation between municipalities and water supply helps to better address the challenges.
The participants were representatives of municipalities and public water companies, representatives of local self-government associations, and associations of water companies from four Western Balkan countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, and Serbia.
