The Association “Vodovodi Republike Srpske” is organizing a workshop today, July 7, 2020, on the topic “Preparation and implementation of successful infrastructure projects for drainage and wastewater treatment.” This workshop is held within the project “Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN)” in Bijeljina.
The general objectives of today’s workshop are to enable public water / utility companies, and local self-government units (LGUs) in Republika Srpska to share experiences, improve work and increase capacity on non-revenue water management through a formal exchange of knowledge and experiences based on the product for capacity building developed through the RCDN project by the Aquasan network in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The specific objectives are to improve participants’ knowledge of key aspects during the preparation, design, and implementation of wastewater treatment and purification projects through the example of successful practice, to bring projects to successful maintenance and operation, and to enable participants to expand knowledge on case studies and projects in the field of wastewater disposal and treatment.
The participants of the workshop are water supply companies and local self-government units (competent departments for communal issues and representatives of competent services that perform project preparation and implementation) from the Republic of Srpska.
